Role Model

Sorry I have been kind of quiet…nothing really going on. Hubby was out for a few days so I used the time to catch up on Yoruba movies and watch all those drug underworld documentaries. What you thought I was gonna say I was busy working? 😂😂😂

That’s how I was minding my business as usual….I saw the yearbook of one of the most expensive schools in Lagos- secondary school. So they asked the graduating set things like future school, ambition, role model etc.

Many of them wrote things like footballer, blogger, model. And of course in my 35 year old mind, I was like I will beat that ambition out of the kid for N3 million per year thats my old a** reasoning. Some even wrote “to be rich” as ambition.

When they asked for Role models: some of these kids wrote el chapo, Adolf Hitler, Escobar. I was curious as to who approved the yearbook as such are in poor taste.

But who is to blame for the “to be rich” ambitions and escobar as role models?

I am truly confused and concerned as to the level if decline in human quality.

Pls it’s important for parents to put their children in schools where morals are emphasized above all else.
