When God Says Yes

So I have many half written posts and whatnots- abeg make una forgive me…between my baby girls who refuse to sleep and restrategizing my life, it gets hectic.

My post today – while I was walking down the street in my attempt to run to the store quickly with twins in tow, I saw someone who looked familiar. Busy street in the overseas with someone yelling my name. It was a friend of a friends sister.

When I realised it was her, I noticed she was heavily pregnant and I was like OMG i have to touch your belly when are you due etc. I even forgot to greet her mother…lol. why am I so excited you ask? Well she had an ectopic pregnancy about 6 or 7 years ago and her tubes were damaged. Her then husband initially agreed to go try IVF with her and when it didn’t work after a year or two got frustrated and allowed the devil to use him. He literally threw her things out of the apartment she had put money towards rent etc. She paid most of the bills because of how industrious and hardworking she was. He moved another lady in who claimed she was pregnant for him etc and then public shamed his wife further by calling her a man.

My problem with people like her ex husband is you kick someone while they are down, stop playing God. I told her today God put them to shame and he is ever faithful…and I always tell people- no one made themselves, whatever you feel is a deficiency- God put in the person to bring them closer to him. Afterall if we are perfect, then we dont need him….

I wish I knew where to find her ex Husband and do ntoin in his face. Whatever you do never cast someone for something that you feel is a deficiency expecially if they have no control over it. Let us all remember to never play God.

I am so happy it’s like I won the lottery after I saw her…

I’m so happy for her. I think that is one of the most demoralizing thing that can happen to most women; difficulty or inability to conceive.
