So you are wondering if you are the only one without a waist trainer yet? Or you have been wearing yours for a few months now and you have actually noticed the difference? I personally always catch up on trends late, but waist training is something i found out a few years ago. The whole idea is to make your waist smaller. However it seems like many people haven’t done their homework. Firstly it is cumbersome in terms of comfort and makes one really hot – often because of the material used to make it.
I was watching doctor Oz the other day online and i found he did a segment on waist training. He did an x-ray without and with waist training and the results were interesting. I am not for or against what people do with their bodies, however i believe we should have access to information to help us make proper decisions. Here is the video , pretty much waist trainers mess with the positioning of your organs. Like in the image below:
I am not a joy killer, simply sharing what i found. I do wear my spanx with pride as it is more comfortable for me, and makes my midsection smooth. I have slowed down on working out, i have actually stopped, so i gained probably 3 inches around my waist- so i am not speaking from a six pack angle.
Do you waist train? If yes, are you aware of the effects on your organs in terms of positioning? If yes, does it bother you? I mean my father always says “something has to kill you” right. If you waist train, please share your experiences.
