So it dawned on me that three quarters of 2015 has passed. Q3 was possibly one of my most trying quarters. While i can say I am grateful it is over…this quarter messed with me recklessly from every standpoint I can possibly think of. And I can truly only look forward…as I have purposed in my heart to only exude gratitude. I am grateful for many things and I continue to be grateful that I have so much and so much I can also give to others. I am looking forward to Q4 with arms wide open and have started a few fun projects….i will be making crochet bow ties and headbands both with interchangeable bows and flowerss for my nephew’s one year birthday party in December…those are the party favors if there is a party. Lol. Something different since we can’t afford ipads anyways.

How was your Q3? What are your plans and expectations for Q4?

This was the daily reading from a Joyce Meyer bible plan I am on…it came right on time today if you ask me

God Causes Things to Happen at the Right Time

Are you waiting for the desires of your heart to begin to manifest? Are you praying for bondages to fall off of you so you can see your dreams come to pass? Are you waiting and praying for the salvation of friends and family? Are you trusting God for prosperity, favor, promotion, honor, and all the blessings found in His Word?

Are you tired of waiting for harvest time in your life? Are you frustrated, crying out, “When, God, when?” Then you need to understand that God’s timing is often a mystery. He doesn’t do things on our timetable. Yet His Word promises that He will not be late, not one single day.

God causes things to happen at exactly the right time! Your job is not to figure out when, but to make up your mind that you won’t give up until you cross the finish line and are living in the radical, outrageous blessings of God! The more you trust Jesus and keep your eyes focused on Him, the more life you’ll have. Trusting God brings life. Believing brings rest. So stop trying to figure everything out, and let God be God in your life.

Prayer Starter: God, I know that Your timing is perfect, even when I grow tired of waiting. Help me to trust in You and rest in Your plan for me.

  2. Q3 was a challenging and trying quarter for me, but in the midst of it all I was able to keep my head up and make better plans for 2016 (seeing that this year is almost gone).
Q4 – I’m hoping to round up this year on a good note. I have 2 major prayer points, and i have faith that God will give me bumper testimonies to end the year with.
2015 seemed to have a lot of challenges (Q1 – Q3), but i thank God for his mercies because i believe that it will end in praise…Amen!!

The bible reading is so speaking to me at this moment. Sometimes having faith/holding on can seem so difficult, especially when you need to hear ‘good news’ almost immediately.

  3. Quarter 3 was also a trying period as well. I really was in the “zone”. Thank God for his mercies and grace. He always comes through.

I am very expectant that Q4 will usher in abundant Grace, the kind I can also extend to people around me. There is so much I’d like to do for people in need and I believe that God will open doors.

@ Oyin, thanks for the devotional, very Apt.
You are a giving person, and I join you in faith to say amen to all your hear desires.

  4. I had an exhausting Q3, hopefully Q4 will be awesome by God’s grace. I pray all our plans be fulfilled easily….

Ipad money will come. But I’m sure you’ll use it for something else. Your time and skill with the crocheting is also a beautiful gift going by the ones you’ve displayed here.

I love the content of the devotional. May lines fall for us in pleasant places.

“Your job is not to figure out when, but to make up your mind that you won’t give up until you cross the finish line”. That’s all. Difficult but doable.
